‘Food Drop Delivery Services’ maintains the Website (‘Site’) www.fooddrop.ae
By making a purchase or accessing the Website of Fooddrop.ae, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of all of these Terms and Conditions when making a purchase on Fooddrop.ae (“Website”).
1. Modification of These Terms & Conditions
Fooddrop.ae reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which this Website is offered at any time. Modification of this contract will be deemed effective upon publication on the Website with respect to any Customer actions, communications or transactions occurring after said date. It is your responsibility to check terms and conditions of this Agreement at the time of each use.
2. Agreement
This Website is offered to you, the customer ("You"), by Fooddrop.ae ("Us", "We", " (“Fooddrop.ae”) conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained in this agreement ("Agreement"). Your use of this Website constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
3. User Registration Terms
Registering at Fooddrop.ae is free service and customer will receive a username (which will be customer’s email id) and password upon completing the website’s registration process or completing a transaction. Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password, and is fully responsible for all activities that occur under customer’s account. Customer agrees to:
· Immediately notify Fooddrop.ae of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
· Ensure that customer exits from customer account at the end of each session. Fooddrop.ae cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this requirement. Customer agrees that if customer provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or Fooddrop.ae has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or not in accordance with the Terms of Use, Fooddrop.ae has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate or block access of your membership with Fooddrop.ae and refuse to provide customer with access to the website.
· Customer will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of Fooddrop.ae website, or any other systems or networks connected to Fooddrop.ae Website
· Customer will not violate any of the terms and conditions of this agreement or any other terms and conditions contained elsewhere within Fooddrop.ae.
4. Validity of and Payment for Service Requests
When a customer submits a service request to Fooddrop.ae website, the request is considered valid upon submission. Once your request is submitted to Fooddrop.ae, we will be responsible for delivering your request in a timely manner. The customer is responsible for the full payment in advance at the time of submission of request. Customer is responsible for payment of all the services Customer requests. In the event the Customer fails to timely pay for the additional goods and/or services, Fooddrop.ae reserves the right to pursue the Customer by any and all legal means to collect on amounts due and owing. Card holder must retain a copy of transaction records and www.fooddrop.ae policies and rules
5. Transmission of Request
Fooddrop.ae will be responsible for transmitting the requests placed on our site in a timely manner after submission. Fooddrop.ae is not responsible for any delay in transmission of such order due to failures of telecommunications media utilized by Fooddrop.ae. Customer acknowledges that delays may occur in transmission of any Fooddrop.ae order and agrees to hold Fooddrop.ae and its employees and agents harmless.
6. Services provided/Sale of goods
Fooddrop.ae provides a ‘Drop Kit’ to the customers, comprising of a ‘Lunch Bag’ & a ‘Number Lock’, which should be purchased by the customer at the time of singing up. The customer will pack the food containers in the lunch bag provided and will lock the food using the number lock provided. Fooddrop.ae has no control over and does not guarantee the quality, taste, safety or legality of the food items sent across from one party to another, be it from one’s own house, from the tiffin service provider or from a restaurant.. Fooddrop.ae provides a surety to the best of the knowledge, that the food in transmission will not be tampered. However for best interests of both the parties, it is strongly recommended that the customer uses the number lock provided by Fooddrop.ae after the food is packed in the lunch bag, which should also be purchased from Fooddrop.ae. If customer does not wish to use the number lock, then the sole responsibility lies on the customer for the food that is being delivered. In any case, sending/receiving any illegal food/drink is strictly prohibited and Fooddrop.ae will take strict action against the person doing such an act, if found guilty.
The contract for sale of any item, if any, shall be a strictly bipartite contract between the tiffin service providers/restaurants (if any, known as ‘vendors’) and the customers. At no time shall any right, title or interest over any item vest with Fooddrop.ae nor shall Fooddrop.ae have any obligations or liabilities in respect of such item or the contract between the customers and tiffin service providers/restaurants. Fooddrop.ae is not responsible for unsatisfactory or delayed performance, losses, damages or delays as a result of items which are unavailable.
Fooddrop.ae is not required to mediate or resolve any dispute or disagreement between users & the vendors. Fooddrop.ae does not make any representation or warranty as to the attributes (including but not limited to legal title, creditworthiness, or identity) of any of its users.
7. Information Provided
When you use services of Fooddrop.ae, as part of the process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our website, new services and other updates.
All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
8. Delivery Policy
Fooddrop.ae is an online ordering portal for home meals to be delivered to customer’s work place. Fooddrop.ae provides delivery services typically from home/tiffin service provider to office/university location. Our delivery team is well trained and equipped to handle the orders. As listed above, we are not responsible for the food/drink that is getting transported from one place to another. The sole ownership lies with the customer, Fooddrop.ae being the delivery agent only.
Customer will not hold Fooddrop.ae responsible, for the food/drink contents sent from one location to another, whether or not the number lock is used.
Fooddrop.ae prime functionality is deliveries of food. There can be situations outside control of Fooddrop.ae or due to other unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic, accidents, fire, floods or earthquake, the deliveries may get delayed. Fooddrop.ae will keep customers informed about such delays.
Fooddrop.ae will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC sanctions countries.
9. Method of Payment and Currency
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED.
10. Website Platform
The Site is only a platform for interaction whereby users may meet and interact with one another for the purpose of the services offered. Fooddrop.ae does not buy or sell items. Fooddrop.ae is not and cannot be a party to or control in any manner any transaction between two users of the Site. You will not hold Fooddrop.ae responsible for customers content, actions, or inactions, or items or Information they list or post. Fooddrop.ae has right to post any information, documents, software, designs, graphics, etc. (such as the messages, poets, reports/news, file posted to the bulletin board) which are member generated and uploaded to the system by the members and/or to transmit them to another place within the site deemed as appropriate by Fooddrop.ae It is probable that this information is copied and/or posted by other users. In such cases, the users shall not demand any royalty from Fooddrop.ae In particular: Fooddrop.ae is not responsible for any non-performance or breach of any contract entered into between users and does not transfer legal ownership of items to the customers. Fooddrop.ae purely provides a food delivery service to its customers, without being held responsible for the items sent across from one party to another.
11. Right to Refuse Service
Customers will be notified before any changes/termination. In case Users are found Illegal/or inappropriately accessing the site, Fooddrop.ae will terminate account/access without cause or notice.
12. Refunds & Cancellation
Customer agrees to our refund & cancellation policy, which is stated in the ‘Refund Policy’ section.
13. Indemnify
Customer will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Fododrop.ae and its owner, licensee, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors and employees from and against any and all liabilities, claims, costs and damages, (including legal fees and disbursements in connection therewith and interest chargeable thereon) result from any breach of this Terms & Conditions and other policies, or your violation of any law, rules or regulations or the rights of a third party or as result of disputes between tiffin service provider/restaurant and customer.
14. Prohibited Use
As a condition of your use of this website, you warrant to Fooddrop.ae that you will comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of our service and any related activities. In addition, you warrant that you will not use this website in any way prohibited by these terms, conditions and notices. You will not use the website or any content for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms & Conditions.
15. Disclaimer
Fooddrop.ae is acting solely as connection between the sender of the food and receiver of the food and is not acting in any other capacity with either customers, tiffin service providers or restaurants, including but not limited to, any partnership, joint venture, co-ownership, broker or agency relationship of any kind with any customer or restaurant. It is recommended that prior to making any buying decisions you consult professionals as appropriate.
16. Third Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Without limitation, any speculative, false or fraudulent orders or service requests are prohibited. You agree that the services of this Website shall be used only to request legitimate price and purchase information for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorized to act. You understand that overuse or abuse of the services offered by the Website may result in you being denied access to such services. 22. Limit of Liability

This website will be governed by the law of UAE. Use of this Website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, brokerage, or agency relationship exists between you and Fooddrop.ae as a result of this agreement or use of this Website. Fooddrop.ae performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal processes and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Fooddrop.ae right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this Website or information provided to or gathered by Fooddrop.ae with respect to such use.
